Sedation Dentistry

Sedation Dentistry may be the answer for many anxious patients. Before performing procedures, the tooth and the surrounding tissue will be numbed with the same injection with the same medication you would receive to numb a tooth prior to having a cavity filled. In addition to the local anesthetic to numb the pain, you and Dr. Armbruster may decide that a sedative is desired to control your anxiety. Sedating medications that could be selected include an oral sedative (for example, Valium).

With Sedation Dentistry, your treatment will be performed more comfortably than you ever would have imagined. You'll still be awake, but you'll be drowsy and unaware of the passing of time.

Since you will be completely comfortable, Dr. Armbruster can perform many different treatments in just one or two visits. People who have very busy schedules can reduce their overall dental visits thanks to sedation dentistry.

Waterlase Technology

Waterlase uses the Hydrokinetic process which gently washes away decay with YSGG laser-energized water droplets. Hydrokinetic energy is produced by combining a spray of atomized water with laser energy. The resulting Waterlase (HydroKinetic) energy gently and precisely removes a wide range of human tissue including tooth enamel (the hardest substance in the body), and soft tissue (gum tissue) with no heat or discomfort in most cases.

The laser's pinpoint accuracy is precise enough that your dentist can leave in place as much healthy tooth structure as possible, allowing you to keep your own teeth longer.

Dental Implants provide a Long-lasting Solution

F
or those who are missing teeth, implants help restore health and beauty to your smile. Implants are attached to your jawbone unlike dentures or traditional bridges. Dental implants look and feel more like your own teeth. Adequate bone in the jaw is needed to support your new implant, and the ideal candidates have healthy gum tissues that are free of periodontal diseases.

Dentures

Dentures are used to replace missing teeth. Consisting of replacement teeth, a plastic gum area and either metal clasps or other attachments, partials can make eating and speaking easier for people who are missing some of their teeth. Partials are removable and that makes them easier to clean and care for. We offer both full and partial dentures.

Makeovers with Veneers

One of the most successful of cosmetic dentistry procedures, porcelain veneers can fix all kinds of problems. They are used to cover chips and stains, as well as to change the length, shape, or color of your teeth. Porcelain veneers are custom-made for you. The smile you've been wanting can be yours in just one appointment with our veneers. Call our office today!
